Roadside grub Puerto rican style

So when I got there to Ponce we didn't want the drivers to suspect that we had anything to do with being the Blue Crew. We wanted them to be at ease and we actually told them that we are there only to do route audits and watch them perform safety sensative tasks. One of the tasks that this Puerto Rican driver gave me was Lunch that was cooked in this old truck and served up at a place that most reasonable people would never dare to eat... Well this was the second one of these types of places that I dined at and I must admit the Comida (Food) was excellente!! The first place we stopped at we ran across a 4 lane divided highway much like the game frogger. There we dined on the Puerto Rican dish "Mofungo". Mofungo was served to us in 3 large styrafoam soup cups. One cup had fried pork chunks one had chicken broth and the other had fried mashed plantains. You mix the chicken broth with the plantains and "Wempawaytcho" (bon appatite, enjoy your food). It was great. At this place in this picture I ate half a chicken or pigeon I am not sure......

Don't they just have chickens running around everywhere? The food must be really fresh!
