Beer Buzz

Ahh an oldy but a goody!! Old Milwaukee beer from Jos. Schlitz Brewwing company. I purchased a twelve pack of this just because it was $5.49 a 12(er)!! It was getting close to the date on the bottowm of the can.. When I delivered beers for a Miller sidtributer in Chicagoland here Ohh about 14 years we used to use an spray deoderant to wipe that date off the cans of beers that got close to the date but don't tell anyone I told you that.. Anyhow not a bad beer but not a real good one. Light on taste no real aftertaste or anything that distinguishes it from other beers. It bosts " Americas Best tasting beer" I don't know if that is self proclaimed or a title given by National Lampoons or what? Usually they will give a award date and Beer fest name or what ever with that type of selling pitch. If it's cheap buy it if not forget it..
I have to throw more trash today as well as yesterday and I noticed Heff's trying to cut in on the beer tasting although he sticks with the newer beers which is fine by me.. I have had the Land shark he tested in his last blog and I agree it is good but over priced and not a real brew, but lets see what kind of beers I grab for this weekend.. Uhmmm

Old Milwaukee. Now THERE'S a classic. At under 6 bucks a twelver, I may have to try that one again.

Let me know if you actually tighten your purse strings enough to try Schaefer light. I think that shit goes for around 30 cents a can.

Man you guys get booze cheap too! 30 cents a can is amazingly cheap. A can of average 'yellow' beer here would cost as much as a pound. That's nearly two bucks!!!

Axe, You have to realize Heff comes from parts where they still are known to make their own "Hootch","moonshine" or "Whitelightening"!!! If he has to pay more than a Quarter for any kind of booze it's too much!!

Although Bill is currently sporting such quality beers as "Old Milwaukee", he IS correct to a certain extent. Shaefer Light is cheap as hell, but it's also HORRIBLE.
